僕のアドバイザーが日本語と工学と一生に出来ない言った

 I decided to skip a few episodes because the last few were a bit boring. Now, Luffy and his crew had left the previous island with Usopp as part of their crew. They came to a supposedly haunted island with some treasure, but instead, the haunted portion of the island was actually just myth because there were weird creatures that had bodies of multiple animals combined together, like a lion’s head on a pig’s body. This short island venture was only a part of the show for one episode, but I liked that much better than previous episodes because it didn’t drag out the interactions like the previous encounter with Captain jango.

 Although this episode had more action that the last one, the amount of redundant dialogue was still annoying, so I was skipping through it a lot. However, I recognized a phrase やめるつもり, meaning I plan to stop, which was cool. I also was listening to my Japanese playlist again and realized that I recognized a lot more words and phrases than before, so I am becoming happy with my progress in Japanese. 

 This episode on the other hand was, in my opinion, quite literally a waste of time. Most of it was spent as dialogue between the different sides threatening that they’ll kill each other and going back and forth in petty little fights. I ended up putting the episode on 1.5 times speed because I was getting so bored. At this point in the show, I’d say I definitely like the plot, but each episode is so drawn out that i will most likely play every episode in 1.5 times speed, like sonic the hedgehog. 

 This episode was more or less a direct continuation of the previous one where the fight left off. Normally, there is some sort of cliff hanger or natural cut, but they literally left off in the middle of a battle scene. I was surprised how Captain Jango was able to hypnotize people to become stronger by believing it. I liked this episode a lot because of that and also since there was tons of action.
